Well I finally made it through…

Ik took me 10:33:11 and I ended with a respect score of 15,810.
Completed: 76%

The things I liked the most:
- the rabbit level, great turning point in the game
- the overall graphical quality of the levels
- the ‘respect’ thing, once you learn the sword moves and how to use the grenades and your focus time properly …
- the explosions and the usage of tables and such
- the overall AI of your enemies, truly amazing

The things I disliked:
- the ninja fights: man were they hard to do , especially the komoris leader, it took me over an hour. (tip: do not break his sword, his fighting abilities will go beyond yours after this, just try to make a flawless victory it is easier this way, trust me)
- some bugs: you can get stuck in between two walls, the game crashed my wii (when a ninja takes away the katana giri the movie just froze)

I wasn’t able to defeat otori, nor was i able to break his sword, so the antedote of the poisoned sword couldn’t be found. (normal ending so far as I’ve read)

If you are able to break otori’s sword the following will happen (found on gamespot forums)

Otori says that scott is a wiser warrior than he thought and also says the katana giri is broken but maybe that was its perpose all along. Miyu demands that Tokai honors his promise but he is reluctant (giving into his pride) then Miyu goes on saying that there is enough death in our clan and that we must put an end to it.

next scene: everyone is at sato’s grave, Otori tells scott that if not for him he and Mariko would be death and that they don’t know what they are going to do with Tokai yet but they need to make sure no new demons come after they worked so hard to slay the old ones. He then gives scott the broken katana giri.

    hello, it happend to me something simlar to your case, i coulden´t protect the chinise asshole from otori. So in the menu selection it says 78 %. What is the rest %. Are more missions coming? Or is to complete the multiplayer?
